Resident Artist Marilyn Rea Nasky has donated a portion of her painting sales to the MISS Foundation nonprofit, which provides support services to families whose child has died. Marilyn also participates in the foundation’s Kindness Project in which random acts of kindness are performed in memory of a child who has died. Thank you Marilyn for the meaningful work you do!
Two of our wonderfully-talented resident artists Jan Knox and former resident artist Debra Wilson contributed their time and creative skills to help raise much-needed funds to support the Austin Zoo – a sanctuary for rescued animals. Each artist spent countless hours on their beautiful works of art to support the zoo in their annual fundraiser in May. Austin Art Space commends our artists for their hard work and dedication in giving back to the community.
