Easy for Patrons.
A convenient location with glass front, high ceilings, good lighting and the entire close in parking a patron could want. Austin Art Space Gallery is a space that helps any exhibition look its best — both at the artist’s reception and during normal gallery hours. Plus, there are multiple restaurants and entertainment venues just around the corner.
Austin Art Space is enthusiastic about hosting exhibits. Making presentation space available to established and emerging artists fulfills part of the mission of the collective. And, frequently changing exhibits give patrons a reason to visit the gallery more often.
Excellent Show Space
The gallery offers clear, unobstructed carpeted floor space of 325 square feet with 15 ft. ceilings and walls on three sides. That’s plenty of space to accommodate 50 paintings and 100 patrons at an opening reception. With the glass front, patrons can spill out onto the covered walkway and still feel connected to the art.
Opening Receptions
The separate studio space at the back of the gallery includes a small refrigerator, microwave, industrial sink and work surfaces for prepping wine and hors d’oeuvres for presentation in the gallery proper.
Refreshments may be served, set out on tables inside or, weather permitting, set on tables in the covered sidewalk area.
Continuing Exhibition of Work
The exhibit period is two consecutive weeks on display. The gallery is open to the public during regular business hours: Friday, noon-3, and Saturday, 11:00am-5:00pm and is staffed by Austin Art Space during those times. The renter has the option of extending (and staffing) the open days or open hours within the two-week period.
Exhibition Promotion
Austin Art Space will feature the event on its calendar page and provide information about the exhibit on our webpage from promotional information provided by artist.
Further, the renting artist is free to promote the opening and exhibition in all appropriate media.

Gallery Rental Details
Rental is available to solo artists or groups of artists working in 2d or 3d. The agreement includes a two-hour opening period and two consecutive Friday/Saturday’s of regular gallery hours.
Austin Art Space’s manager will work with the renting artist or group on aspects of the exhibit in order to insure optimum results.
Renters are responsible for promoting and hanging their own show, and for complete clean-up after the conclusion of the run. Renters are responsible for providing and serving their own refreshments, if any. And, for providing their own labels, nametags, display material, etc. Costs for additional staff time may apply.
Rentals are generally booked three months or more in advance based on availability. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of deposit. Please note: gallery rental for private shows is limited due to our ongoing gallery programs and group show schedule.
